The first thing you may notice is that they're priced super low compared to CBD.
Amazon is often a race to the bottom on price and quality.
Do you recognize any of the brands here?
Of course not because they would not meet the rigorous requirements that retailers like Pharmaca have for their brands.
An unknowing consumer would think… wow I’m getting a great deal here on CBD compared to what else is available in store or online.
BUT YOU'RE NOT GETTING CBD.
All of these products prominently feature HEMP OIL
Hemp seed oil and CBD are two totally different compounds that come from different parts of the hemp plant, have different makeups, and different benefits.
Hemp seed oil is a cooking oil—along the lines of sunflower seed oil and jojoba oil—in that it’s a cold-pressed extract from seeds.
Hemp seed oil, sometimes referred to as cannabis sativa seed oil, is perfectly good seed oil that’s high in antioxidants, omega-3 and -6 fatty acids, but contains no CBD.
It has absolutely no cannabinoids in it—not CBD, THC, or CBN.
If you’re trying to get the maximum benefits of CBD oil, hemp seed oil won’t deliver.

You really can’t be sure if you’re getting hemp seed oil, grape seed oil or motor oil!

Now let's take a closer look at one of the top products.
Wow... it's claiming to be 80,000mg of hemp oil.
Yes, you read that right eighty-thousand.
Let's test that claim.
The average density of most hemp oils is approximately 0.9180 g/mL.
And, we know the weight of the hemp oil claimed to be contained in a 30ml/1oz bottle, (80,000 mg).
So, by taking the average density (0.9180 g/mL) along with the weight (80,000 mg), the volume that this solution would occupy in a container can be calculated to be around 87 mL.
Not 30mL!
Another way to say this is 1 gram of oil has a volume of 1.09 ml.
Therefore, 80 grams (80,000 mg) of oil has a volume of ~87.2 ml.
This product is IMPOSSIBLE.
80,000mg of oil would need an 86ml container.
That’s 3x the size of this one!
Obviously this is fraud and it’s wrong and consumers are getting ripped off.
Amazon while claiming to be the most consumer friendly business on the planet, actually cares more about their bottom line.
If they did care, there would be a big warning sign on their search pages.

Transparent Sourcing -
Where is the hemp grown? What strands are used to make the extract?
These questions are important. If a brand doesn't tell you, then they probably don't know!
Third-Party Lab Testing -
